Basic Info

Cascadia Seaweed stands as a vertically integrated seaweed farming and processing company manufacturing products that enhance agricultural yields and reduce greenhouse gases.

Cascadia Seaweed supplies the multi-billion-dollar North American agricultural market with biostimulants for crops that promote growth, improve stress resistance and reduce fertilizer use. Additionally, they produce bovine feed additives that increase yield, reduce feed costs and cut methane emissions. The company positions itself uniquely for growth due to solid relationships with First Nations who grant access to scalable cultivation areas and a growing portfolio of intellectual property.

Why work with us

CUSTOMER

Cascadia Seaweed's end customers are farmers. Crop farmers benefit from Cascadia Seaweed's biostimulants with faster seed germination, stronger root development, improved nutrient uptake, and greater abiotic stress resistance. By purchasing Cascadia Seaweed's products, farmers can reduce their use of synthetic fertilizer and water inputs without sacrificing yield. Seaweed serves as a prebiotic in animals. Beef and dairy farmers using Cascadia Seaweed's feed-additives experience improved feed conversion and reduced enteric methane. Cascadia Seaweed's direct customers are sellers and distributors of agricultural crop inputs and feed products in Canada and the USA.

SEEKING

Cascadia Seaweed is raising $7.5M USD to finance a significant expansion of cultivation and bioprocessing capacity. They seek investment from impact investors to complement committed government grants in support of the venture. They also anticipate First Nation investment to leverage the Blue Economy. The company seeks research and distribution partners that can assist with field trials and product sales.
